Children's Fellowship

Children’s Fellowship is for kids from Kindergarten thru 5th grades to engage in mission projects, explore scripture reading, crafts and games. 

MISSION PROJECTS DONE BY CHILDREN DURING 2015/2016 

  • Canned food drives for Second Chance Mission and Soup Kitchen 

  • Make and give appreciation/love gifts to recognize Adult Sunday School Classes for Valentine’s Day, Easter, and Christmas      

  • Trip to Onslow House to visit residents on Valentine’s Day    

  • Brookwood Cancer Patients fundraiser (ongoing) 

  • Letters sent monthly to prisoners of Christ through the website of Voice of the Martyrs. 

  • Sponsors movie night for adults every three months where children serve refreshments 

  • Pack shoeboxes for Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child 

  • Currently redoing room in church for prayer room based on the movie shown by children called War Room 

  • Gave out small crosses to congregation as an outreach based on the movie Do You Believe? and to remind everyone that “The cross should not only bring us to our knees but also to our feet.” 

BIBLE STUDY 

Children participate in sword drills and scripture reading each month 

  • To help them learn the books of the Bible so they can more readily share His Word  

  • Gain an understanding of God’s Word 

  • An application of scriptures by including Bible verses on gifts. 

CRAFTS 

Crafts are made by children for themselves as well as to give to seniors, for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. 

ACTIVITIES 

Board games, X-Box, Wii, ping pong, foosball, air hockey, basketball, painting, trips, etc.  

Children’s Fellowship meets monthly on the 2nd Friday and is led by Ms. Dawn, Ms. Becky and Ms. Margaret.  COME JOIN US!!!
